In his short stay with us, I have been nothing but frustrated by him. Seems a nice guy, but can't make those crucial catches.
    What would you do?

I'd sign him for not as much as he's asking for, he helps so much in the running game and he is still a great receiver, he could/will be elite if he finally gets his dropping problem fixed.

As far as your opinion, I'm right there with you. He can block but we didn't give up a 3rd and a 5th for a blocker on the edges.

He made at least one big catch today....3rd and short led to a TJ TD.

    Cotchery is stout.

He's a RFA, we'll get something if he goes anywhere. No way he would be let go un-tendered.

For less money and if he spends the spring & summer learning how to catch the ball, then sure.

If given a choice between keeping him or Clowney? I'd keep Edwards only because of his contributions on blocking downfield but only at a bargain price. Tanny does have to address the WR position this April with either a speed guy or another big WR with hands.

You know what, the drops suck, but he does enough to make up for it. Physically, he might be the most gifted received in the NFL, he stretches the field in ways few other WRs can, and has generally shown good hands on shorter routes. Plus, I have his jersey, and don't want it to go to waste. Give him a 1st round tender.

Re-sign him unless he demands top dollar. He's not worth a huge contract but he does add something to this offense.

If he could only concentrate he would be an incredible player.

    Top tender....a 1 and 3.

We paid too much for him to get anything less.

Wouldn't mind keeping him around for a little while we groom our #1 of the future.

I don't care if he drops a few catches. He can do things that no one else on our team can do. He gets open all the time and he has one of the best verticals in the entire NFL. Resign him after the season. No question about it.

I've been one of the Edwards backers but these drops are getting to me. I still say I want to give him a full offseason and training camp with Sanchez. So, Ill cautiously say "resign"
