Look at the job he did on special teams. This is his 3rd coach and he's STILL kicking ass. This is the type of guy to be head coach one day. He knows what he's doing.
It’s interesting….we had Westhoff for years and he always did a great job too…it seems like we had at least one KR TD every year. when Boyer came in it was a step down at first but he’s definitely grew past that and has become a pretty good ST coach I wish we had the same luck picking HCs as we’ve had with ST coordinators
The special teams unit in terms of returns and coverage was an utter disaster before this guy got here. He fixed all of that. Now we need to fix the kicking units but I think that’s more on the general manager than it is on the coaching. We also need to hire a kicking coach. As of a couple years ago the only team with a kicking coach was the Ravens and no surprise they’ve had the best kicking game in the league for a decade.
