    per NFL.com - "Big Blue to Gang Green? Jacobs lobbies for position with Jets" was the headline


    I say if he wants to be here so bad, sign him for the vet minimum and let him play... couldnt hurt.... with Jacobs and Greene smacking the shit out of opposing defenses, they (opposing defenses) will definitely start to run down much faster

    Jacobs would probably get a fair amount of money under the table from the Giants to sign with the Jets and tank plays when it counted. Just like Suxico did.

    I don't know with all the locker room turmoil last season I'm not sure it's a great idea to sign a guy who wanted told Rex "I'll punch you in the face". Plus Jacobs doesn't have a lot of speed left.

    If we can get him for cheap, it's worth it. Greene and Jacobs would put a hurting on the defense, then we'd have McKnight to use situationally. That would be a good backfield for the Jets, and fit the Sparano system well, IMO.

    I agree. Jacobs is an asshole and a plodder but used for 10 carries a game he would still be useful.
