I hope we beat them until they shit out their weiner, but you can understand the apprehension to be confident as a Jets fan. You can't remove that apprehension with one win over the Texans. It takes consistent good play and solid wins over good teams, and that takes time. I think it'll be a competitive game, no doubt. I don't think either team is going to be blown out. If we win this game, I'll get into confident mode. Of course, I was in confident mode last year after we beat the Titans...........
You bolded "talk is cheap" where it looks to me that the paper is just putting phrases into to get a cheap pop here. They may have asked Brady a question to lead him into that but conveniently left it out. Happens all the time. The "super bowl" comment seems to be a reach as well, just the writer's opinion. I never heard anyone quote Jenkins saying "this is our super bowl".
Brady's right, talk is cheap. Nothing about Jets/Pats changes if the Jets don't prove it on the field.
Smug on the Money Brady has that way of just coming off as being quiet but you know he believes his team is much better. I remember against the Giants in the SB when he laughed off that they would only score 17 points. I just hope DH is in his face all day and makes his life miserable.
