For anyone who missed it, they showed a highlight during the game. Brady got hit and his leg twisted awkwardly. Left knee injury. Obviously waiting to see if it's serious.
I honestly wouldn't wish this sort of misery on anybody, but if he's down long-term the division was just blown wide open.
thats the knee he plants to step and throw... that can really affect a QB.... this will be in interesting week to see if he's good to go for week 2.
so glad I traded Brady and Larry Johnson for Palmer and Westbrook in my keeper league a week ago and I got trashed for making that trade I see the Brady owner picked up Matt Cassel earlier this hour
I want Brady in next week. I want to beat the pats at full strenght. If not, lets kill the wounded duck!
Yeah, he asked for it. He's got a lot of nerve stepping forward to throw the ball. What a stupid comment!
I don't want to say I'm glad he's hurt but in a way it's a bit poetic justice after the way they screwed around (as usual) in the preseason floating all these doomsday reports about his leg when he was fine of course. Then it turns out he gets hurt for real. Maybe there's finally an expiration date for NE's deal with the devil
I am sure he will be listed as day to day regardless of how injured he is. You never get the straight story from the Pats.
Let me elaborate. We will not hear anymore from the Pats organization. I predict they will refuse to comment on who will be the starting QB and/or refuse to admit brady will not start. Brady will be on the injury list with something like a pinky injury.
