Hoke was Michigan's third option behind Harbaugh and Miles. He's done a very good job at SDSU, but I highly doubt he'll be successful at Michigan.
Tate Forcier is gone. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=6015733&campaign=rss&source=ESPNHeadlines
With Forcier and Denard both likely gone, I wonder if Devin Gardner is ready to take over? Kid was as highly recruited as anybody at the position a few years back.
Nardogg is transferring? Devin Gardner has a cannon for an arm, but he's more of a dual threat guy. I don't think he fits Hoke's system either.
That was a big rumor about a week ago, but I think it cooled off as he and his family waited to see who the new coach was. I don't know how many schools are hoping for a 5'11 Starting QB, but I know a lot would love to see him come in as a gimmick QB/athlete.
He's a great athlete at the position. A team the runs a variation of the spread will want him badly. If he leaves Michigan, I believe he'll be a starter elsewhere. It might not be a major college program, but he'll be a quarterback.
When Denard was healthy he was awesome. The problem is he's 5'11" and probably can't take a bunch of big hits over the course of a season.
