The stipulation attached to their returns are: "Jastremski is prohibited from having any role in the preparation, supervision, or handling of footballs to be used in NFL games during the 2015 season. McNally is barred from serving as a locker room attendant for the game officials, or having any involvement with the preparation, supervision, or handling of footballs or any other equipment on game day.”
League office requested their suspension, aka they forced it. They also said they can't be reinstated without league approval. This is one of the worst pieces of "evidence" that has ever existed. They weren't suspended for wrong doing, simply because the NFL can do whatever they like.

I'm sure Brady and Kraft are taking care of them, but I'm sure they will be looking for a big payday from the Pats and the NFL. There will be a settlement and a non-disclosure agreement so no one will ever know how widespread the cheating was.
