Thank you Terry for all you have done for our team through the years. Good luck in the future. w/ that said Maccagnan did the right thing by starting fresh and bringing in his guys.
Lol--none of that corporate BS "we'd like to express our appreciation and thanks to Terry for his years of service and dedication to the franchise blahblahblah..." _
I think Bradway saw this coming: he recently removed his "Jumping to Conclusions" prototype from the office.
Bradway should have left the minute he drafted a mediocre NFL kicker like Nugent in the 2nd round. How he still maintained this job for nearly 10 years after that pick is amazing. Now no Gene Smith please.

he's getting up there in age, he may not want to work anymore but he is a well respected guy around the league and would easily find a job if he wants to work.
Haha, apparently not! I'm thrilled with this move as I believe this is LONG overdue, however, I think he could have been a bit more "diplomatic" in his wording. Probably could have said something to the effect of 'while we've decided to go in a different direction, we appreciate all the hard work and time that Terry has given this organization. His time and efforts are much appreciated and haven't gone unnoticed" or something like that. Nonetheless, I'm thrilled with the complete overhaul that this organization is currently experiencing, ESPECIALLY in the scouting and player development department!
He should have been fired the moment it was made public that he was doing the GM job from his home in south Jersey in 2005. That was reprehensible.
About time. Only the Jets would fire someone and then keep proceed to keep them around for the next decade. Hopefully the house cleaning doesn't end there. Maccagnan needs to clean out the entire front office.
