I'd love to grab Deunta Williams late. Some good guys left. Somehow I doubt Trader Mike gets through the day without a move, but the fact that we now can't talk to undrafted's again may force him to stay put.
I would love something like Deunta Williams in the 4th, Bruce Miller in the 5th and Jeremy Kerley in the 6th...unless we somehow get sam acho or chris carter
I would be very surprised if we don't make a trade- that just doesnt seem like Tanny, although we've had a great draft so far
not being able to talk to UDFA's probably won't impact Tanny's decision making, because the second the lockout is lifted we will be on the horn with all of our priority FA's that we would like to bring in. I want him to stay put because their is definately a lot of talent available and we will be available to draft some really good players.
What I think it affects is his willingness to part with the 6th and the 7th rounders. Our track record with UDFA's is so good that in reality, under normal circumstances, we don't even need those picks.
Hell yes. If Herzlich didn't get ill, he would be a Rd 1 player. He many never be the same player that won ACC defensive player of the year, but still a solid option for some team Rd 4 or later.
