At about the 1:10 mark Bortles asks Maye why they continue to play man when they know they run crossers? Maye appears to agree while shrugging as if to say he has no clue and no control over what our idiot CS is calling. This has to be one of the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen. Just wow!

One positive I noticed in the "Mic'd Up" video that was posted in error. We are really paying attention to the leagues new emphasis on the roughing the passer rule. So that's nice.

I had to stop at about 4:30 in. It was that revolting. I'd rather watch a serial killer documentary than sit through the rest of that. ASPCA commercials with shivering dogs and cats. That commercial for a new drug if you have a crooked penis (I'm not making it up). The choices are limitless.
I’d imagine it’s so that he could coax them into making an adjustment that he could exploit in a different way. After the exploit, they’d go back to what already wasn’t working, and it would have made Bortles look brilliant and made the Jets look like the Jets. Imagine If that had happened and he commented on it in mic’d up. Just about the only way the video could have been worse.
Can it get any worse than Blake fucking Bortles taking the piss out of you on the field and then just taking the actual piss out of you as well. Shameful really
Not at all surprised. If I can see it on the field, anyone can. Some of us have been very vocal about our CS incompetence for a couple of years. Nice guy Todd, his heart is in the right place, but it doesn't have what it takes. Players are consistently out of position, in the wrong formation, way over committing on plays, completely un-prepared, plain and simple, horrific game preparation and coaching. Makes no difference. Rookies or highly paid free agents, with stellar credentials, come to the Jets and under perform day in and day out. Defense has gotten progressively worst, yet the only change in coaching not made was Kacey Rodgers. What a joke. Quite frankly, IMO, neither he nor Todd are capable to orchestrate a two man drill. With such CS we are going nowhere. Our ownership is clueless. We will continue to embarrass ourselves, yet win the occasional meaningless game at the end of the season to screw up our draft position. We need respectability, and it starts with ownership. This franchise lead by this CS is a joke.
I think he felt sorry. 7 completed passes over 20 yards. That some scheme we were running. First a rookie qb (in his 1st game) tore us a new one, and then we make Blake fucking Bortles look like Joe Montana. This Jets defense is setting a new low...and we have a defensive "genius" for a head coach. There's something very wrong in Florham Park. I wish Larry Davis and that Game of Thrones guy would partner up and buy this team. We'd still suck, but it'd be dramatic & funny.
Coming into this season the only thing I disliked more than our coaching staff was the O line and the Linebackers !!! As of right now there is not one single thing I like about this team. In keeping with the thread = Bortles just rubbed our noses in it = to quote Al Bundy " lord take me now "
