Every draft there is a list of players that get labelled boom or bust. It seems to me a large majority of these players tend to be busts. Maybe it's because the busts stick out, but for the life of me I can't remember the last guy with that label to actually boom. Someone help me out.
Bust- Taylor Mays Jerry Hughes (In a 3-4) Bruce Campbell Witherspoon (In a 3-4) Patrick Robinson Boom- Everyone besides those players...
One of the most obvious booms is Randy Moss. He had a lot of off field troubles and 20 teams passed on him until the Vikings picked him with the 21st pick. Everyone knew he was talented as shit and worth a top 5 pick, but they also feared that he'd get into trouble and end up a giant bust.
Andre Smith from last year. Bengals seemed to be ok with him at LT when he got healthy. Brick was a "project" and not a boom/bust type. The dude didn't grow into his frame yet. He needed a couple of years. Those who didn't know that labeled him as a bust. He was worth the #4 overall. smith was the only one i could find. When healthy he seemed to be okay, but I don't think he'll be an elite LT, making him unworthy of his 6th overall selection
leg, if you're gonna play with yourself, I can think of a better way: go "shake hands with the General" :breakdance:
So, Jerry Hughes is going to be a bust in a 3-4? I'm going to go out on a limb, and assume that you are just listening to Mr. Electric, and making his opinions your own. So if you think he's going to be a bust only in the 3-4, what part of his skillset makes him better suited to play with his hand on the ground in a 4-3? What part of his skillset will make him fail playing in space?
His arms are fine at 33" Sergio Kindles are 33 1/4 Brandan Graham's are 32 1/4 Find another argument.
