EDIT Jets | Bollinger traded Thu, 31 Aug 2006 15:19:36 -0700 Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports the New York Jets have traded QB Brooks Bollinger to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for DL C.J. Mosley. The deal will be finalized once both players pass their physicals.
I guess the depth chart is Pennington Ramsey Clemens. Good Lord please don't let Chad get hurt. Bollywood>Ramsey
They get flogged. Sometimes shot, if they fail badly enough. We just had this with Lee Suggs not two weeks ago.
Kolodziej was either a late round pick or an undrafted free agent by the Giants a few years back. The details are hazy because he's an unremarkable player. He's a plain ole reserve player. As for Bollywood, he seemed fated to be the odd man out from the start, no matter how big an egg Pat Ramsey could lay.
As much as I like Bollinger, I would much rather have the depth at DT right now. I haven't heard much of Mosley since the draft two years ago, but for only "appearing" in 12 games and getting 3 sacks is better than what D-Rob has done (not that I'm bashing D-Rob)
I'm not good with this, but if you want to be aggressive in your rebuild, then this is the shot you take. I've said all along, Chad is 1/2 a starting QB. He'll go down in a NY minute. So we really have 3 1/2 QB's. Now we've got 2 1/2, effective tomorrow morning. Then again... Vinnie!... Vinnie!... what was his phone number again? What about Jay Feidler too, there's always Jay Feidler! Didn't Tampa just cut him?
