Boldin undergoes procedure Darren Urban, of AZCardinals.com, reports Arizona Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin (head) had a surgical procedure Thursday, Oct. 2, to repair the fracture in his skull. He will not play in the team's Week 5 game. He may be able to play in the team's Week 6 game. http://www.kffl.com/player/5905/nfl Best wishes Anquan
There's no f'in way he's playing in week 6. I did some research on the "fractured sinus" and it does seem like guys can come back in about 3 weeks--at least in rugby. Man, I would sit him 'til at least week 10 to let everything heal properly. Another hit to that area could be dangerous.
Good, now in addition to Marques Colston being a little bitch about his finger, I'm also losing Boldin on my fantasy team. My lineup now consists of: Roy Williams Marvin Harrison and Derrick Mason There goes my chances of having a decent season.
Boldin's badass enough to do it, but I hope he's just 100% sure he's 100%. Good to hear it's not worse. That looked baaaaad.
From KFFL... about Kurt Warner... Cardinals | Warner considered retirement after Week 4 Mon, 6 Oct 2008 11:17:48 -0700 Michael Silver, of Yahoo! Sports, reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner said immediately following the team's Week 4 game that he was going to retire after watching the head injury suffered by WR Anquan Boldin (head). "Something scary like that just makes you contemplate what's really important and puts football in perspective," Warner said Sunday, Oct. 5. "It's things like that make you say, 'This game isn't everything, and I'm not sure if I can do this anymore.' Because the bottom line is that all I really want is to be able to go home to my wife and kids."
