    1. They beat them last yr on a neutral filed, and both teams are essentially the same this yr

    2. TCU has zero quality wins

    3. The one common opponet they have, Boise won by more points

The hate for BSU is a damn joke, I want them to get a shot at the title but its just all politics

    ^^^^^^
please take this not as a TGG-esque 'troll' swipe, Lord knows this joint's chock-full of that know-it-all jive:

    my humble opinion?

I'm not going to throw Boise State under the bus against a gritty Nevada effort, especially considering for example the Cal-vs-Oregon choke factor just a few weeks ago.

for starters, you may want to consider dialing down the ALL-BLUE-UNIFORMS while scheduling home games on ALL-BLUE FOOTBALL FIELDS??...PLEASE??

..and while biatchin' about "home-and-home" not secured match-ups against the 'big boys' (e.g. S.E.C.) in their neck 'o the woods:

You wanna get BSU respect? Do the heavy lifting schedule-wise and stop crabbing about them not playing you unless you accept the fact that THEY have the "rep" and instead schedule them at their place.

Why should you schedule them in an SEC venue? Sorry, but they established the "their" in this home-and-home equation imho.

At the same time, if an SEC opponent didn't want to schedule you at THEIR field for fear of walking into conference play with a potential pre-conference loss on their record, then I'd be the first one to say: "well, SEC coach?...YOUR field, why not?"

Why not Boise State (pre-SEC-matchup) at Tuscaloosa? I'd pay to see that one.

Yes, BSU beat OU (albeit a Big 12 overdog) in a Bowl Game a few years ago with that great pair of gadget plays, but once ain't enough imho. Go 'git ' the big-boy conference opponent on THEIR turf and (in this case, the SEC) call 'em out ..... then beat 'em in a non-neutral site ...... then be able to repeatedly cite site and score. The odd bowl game (vs. their history) ain't gonna cut it imho.

private aside: yo Weems!...you phuckin' cowbell-clanging MSU girl?!..nice job in the Egg Bowl in Oxford over Ol' Piss and Masoli..."Starkvegas" must've been rockin' ;-)

Sorry for the incorrerent rambling (was a bit buzzed at the time of posting). I was only suggesting that while Boise State's move to a more competitive MWC may be a step in the right direction in terms of getting strength-of-schedule respect, they still may need to schedule a big conference (e.g. SEC) opponent should they not want to risk getting frozen out of a title shot even after running the table in the MWC. Having Utah now on their schedule alone won't cut it imho esp. if the Utes cool off like they did the 2nd half this year.

As for your 'especially' part that was a nod to a former (MSU) Bulldog who occasionally surfs TGG.

RevisofNaz, Ozzie Osborne got arrested once for taking a leak at the Alamo so props, you're part of a special fraternity. On the football upside, your Reb's recruiting class for '11 looks pretty strong (currently #12).

You are off, Utah went to the Pac 10, pretty much their new conference is only going to be just a very slight upgrade to the WAC.
