Lets not hype up the patriots persona in here. I can't get away from it and I definitely don't want it here. Not all the players that go to NE become stars or even pan out.

Bodden's a decent Corner but he's nothing special let em go to the cheatriots and play with those assholes.
Bodden is an excellent man cover corner and I don't know why there was so little interest in him. I see him being a great player again for the Rats, unless of course the 31 other teams in the NFL know something we don't.
Besides Hall did any other corner get a big contract? It has been a strange year for FA corners. I don't see a reason why we don't look into Springs/Bodden/Mcfadden seeing as how there price was so low....I guess 'In Lito We Trust'....
A couple of vet signings at CB to mentor the youngsters Wheatley and Wilhite plus the CB they draft with one of their 4 first day picks. Smaht moov
What the hell does this line in that article say? "Bodden, who played last year for the Detroit Lions, was arguably the best cover man still available in free agency, according to most pro scouts." That isn't great praise when you look at the FA corners this year.
He's an upgrade over Deltha O'Neal, plus it takes pressure off having to sign a CB with their first draft pick. Pats can now go BPA either LB or CB at #23. I'm thinking they grab a top LB with pick #23 as there should be a couple of really good ones left when they are on the clock.
