Wow, do I love this guy. He is a RFA and his tender is a first rounder. Now, dont get me wrong, I dont like throwing away 1st rounders, but if Turner talks fall through the roof, I think the Jets should go after this guy HARD! he has only played 3 years and last year he had a 10 sack season. I dont really see much value at the 25 spot for the Jets and I think McCray is the BPA in that spot.

he is and always has been a 4-3 DE.. what are we gonna do with him? not to mention he is 261lbs so unless you plan on using him as a OLB which he has never done in his entire career. he is useless in a 3=4 defense.

Just mentioned him in the GM thread - I like him, too, but I do think that's a firm first round pick - which is too high. Plus, I don't know if he is anything but a pass rusher, which is a great thing, but I don't even know how well he'll play in space - too many qestion marks for a first rounder.

Why doesn't he fit the defense? He actually seems like a decent guy to turn into an OLB.

Great size and speed for the position. It's not "easy" to convert a guy from 4-3 end to 3-4 LB, but he's young enough, big enough, and fast enough that if he learned he could be a beast.

because he just doesnt have the skills to play LB. he's quick, but not fast. he cant cover, he probably cant stop the run (he was never asked to) and i wouldnt call 6'6, 260lbs "great size" for a LB. what LB in the nfl is 6'6, 260lbs?
