I was watching cold pizza this morning and glauber had an interesting view on the draft. although most people know that glauber is retarted with his views this would actually word even though im not in favorof it. glauber says has the saints trading their 2 to the 49ers for the 6 and 22nd. then the draft goes like this

    1. texans-Mario Williams
    2. 49ers-reggie Bush
    3. titans-Matt Leinart
    4. jets-Vernon Davis
    5. green bay-Aj Hawk
    6. Saints-D'brickishaw Ferguson
    7. raiders-Vince young

Although i dont like the draft because i dont think the jets will take vernon davis and i dont want him to take him. I also think that the packers might take a qb if favre retires so im just posting this because i thought it was very interesting.

Its quite possible of course and I think thats exactly what the 9ers will do, wait till draft day, see how the #1 plays out, then decide upon that

Vernon Davis will be an absolutely dominant player, taking him at 4 would not be a bad move

The cheeseheads took a qb in the first round last year. ( aaron rodgers) you really think they'd take a qb again ? They have alot of holes to fill.

yes the carter they would take another one they arent very happy with rodgers. I think the best case scenario for this draft would be us tradin with the 9ers getting hawk with the 6th then deangelo with the 22nd or addai and lawson with the 29th and mangold with the 35th.

Yea well I will shoot our FO if we pass on D'Brick and Hawk for Vernon Davis at 4... but this is very possible. Super Mario's stock has risen a lot this offseason and if Kubiak smartens up and realizes that he has Dominack Davis he may decide to go with Mario at 1. Not likely but possible... and then everything else falls into line.

Vernon Davis is NOT the answer. Yes I would love to pick this guy up; he'd give us a huge offensive weapon, but he's a reach at 4, especially with D'Brick still on the board.
That being said if we traded down two or three spots I'd love to pick this guy up. He's a WR in a TE's body, who can block.

I want us to address other positions before we add a guy like Vernon. He is a rare athlete and I guess I would lighten up to him eventually, but I think a guy like D'Brick would be smarter.

I have to agree with king on this one. I would rather have Hawk or D'Brick instead of Davis.

I'm starting to warm up more to taking Davis, but if Bush isn't taken #1 overall, the Jets better be offering 4 and 29 to move up to #2, and I think that NO would take that.

I would take Davis if: Bush, Mario, Hawk are gone, but just no QB at 4, and if those three are gone I hope we trade down

Was it necessary to post that twice? Forgot killing myself I'll kill the FO... I will lose the confidence I have in them if they go Davis over Hawk and D'Brick.

Jets should take D'Brick if it happens that way. Mel Kiper was saying last night that OT are the safest picks in the 1st round.
