http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...um=referral&utm_campaign=editorial &hpt=hp_t2 No idea if it's particularly significant but it is the same knee he tore ACL and MCL in 2008. Without him the Patriots are just another team.
We'll have an idea about the scope of the injury when Belichik talks to the press. If he just dismisses the injury as a non-story then the odds are it's just that. If he asks "Tom who?" when the question comes up then there's an issue there.
The fact that it has been reported that Brady returned to the field after the injury makes me think all the later events are just precautionary.
Not a surprise. TB is overdue for another injury. Hope he is okay so that we can kick his ass twice this season.
The chopper was for Kraft, Brady missed one play at practice and then returned. The Trainer, BB, and McDaniels came back over to him and pulled him. Brady was fine and practicing, coaches decision for him to leave.
PFT: Brady re-injures knee...leaves practice I know this ain't 'Jet news' (not directly anyhow) but thought it was worthy of a few mins on here before getting the boot. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/08/14/brady-leaves-practice-looking-at-knee/related/ Tom Brady leaves practice, looking at knee Posted by Darin Gantt on August 14, 2013, 3:32 PM EDT Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen, Benjamin Brady AP Every heart in New England just skipped a beat. According to multiple reports, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady just felt something in his left knee in practice, and then left the field after consulting with coach Bill Belichick. During their joint practice with the Buccaneers, Brady grabbed his left knee, limped off, but then rejoined practice a play later. But that didn’t last long, and he ended up heading out again with a trainer. The left is the same knee as the torn ACL that ended his 2008 season. But Patriots president Jonathan Kraft did his best to calm the masses on the Felger and Mazz show on 98.5 The Sports Hub. “I don’t believe it’s serious, but I don’t know,” Kraft said. Thanks to the cell phone video produced by a fan, you can see Buccaneers defensive end Adrian Clayborn pushing Patriots tackle Nate Solder back into Brady, who collapses and grabs his left knee. And considering how forthcoming the Patriots have been in the past with injury information, nothing short of cell phone video of him sprinting is going to ease the worry of Patriots fans.
