That's a bit better... When the newspapers were reporting last week that Barlow and Teague were going to be the only casualties before free agency, I was puzzled to say the least. Blaylock, Kimo, Ramsey and Barrett would clear out the rest of the deadweight, IMO. I think Barton can be replaced as well.

With Barlow and Blaylock both gone, that means that the Jets are getting a new RB, one way or another.

    Both guys stink. Smart cuts.
Bobby Hamilton made one good play all year by stopping Losman when he was trying to scramble in.
    blaylock....well he just sucked.
March 2nd is just around the corner. Cant wait.

Does anyone hate when you are trying to talk football and they say football season is over?
Its never over. these are some of the most exciting times foir a football fan.

    Go Jets!

It's coming more and more apparent the Jets are going to adress the DLine in the draft...

The NT position is a need. Ellis will be 30. Hamilton and Kimo will be gone, Hamilton is gone...So their is nothing at DE, maybe Kenyon Coleman and 2-3 draft picks at DE...

I agree. While picking that late in the draft you go for BPA, I see them leaning towards defense with that pick.
Despite what plenty are saying about the offense and the need for a RT, RB & WR, it was the Jets D that let the team down as the opponent was able to run up the middle any time they wanted.
I do see either a DL or LB as their first pick.

I dont think so. Cotch is clearly the #2 and the strides that Brad Smith made would probably put him as #3 and Dwight #4.
Even J mac is the #4, he makes way too much for that spot.
It wouldnt suprise me if he is the next name announced as getting waived.

Well, I saw on ESPN today the Jets will either cut or trade Patrick Ramsey by Friday, so he is gone too.

I didn't realise being 30 made you old for a lineman
