I hardly noticed the shorts. Thought he was commenting on a player's wang with 71's help.

    Bill wears short shorts.

Funny but the NFL had a problem years back when Mike Nolan wanted to wear a suit on the sidelines. He was told he had to have approved apparel. THey actually had Reebock make a suit for him to wear. Jack DelRio wore one as well.

Yet the NFL in all of it's infinite glory allow this shlub Bill Belichick to dress like he does.

    Go figure.

Couldn't agree more with you. That bugs the hell out of me that Nolan wanted to look professional and dignified and got shit for it from the league, yet this asshat can look like he just crawled out of some box in an alley 10 minutes before kickoff.

I really wish they would make coaches wear suits instead of that garbage Modell's gear. They concentrate so much on fining players for little bullshit, yet they can't manage to bring a little class to the league by simply demanding coaches wear suits.

Fine players for their shirts not being tucked in, socks not being pulled up, etc...

Yet they somehow find this acceptable because the correct corporate logo is on it:

In the NHL, NBA, and I believe in all soccer leagues as well, coaches wear a suit. The NFL on the other hand, would rather it's coaches dress like Bill Belicheat. He's the worst dressed millionaire in the history of the world.

Wow, you guys love to sensationalize. The NFL wasn't shitting all over Nolan for wanting to wear a suit, they were shitting on him because they have a CONTRACT with Rebook that ALL coaches will wear their apparel on the sideline and Reebok being a SPORTS ATTIRE company didn't have any suits.

They then made their own line of suits and everyone was happy... and forcing coaches to wear suits would trump everything on the ridiculous scale. New England has nasty weather, you need to be active and moving around as a head coach in the NFL. That is not true with games like Baseball, Basketball, Hockey etc...

The cameras pan to the coach during the NBA playoffs and they're sitting in their suits on the sideline half the time. Baseball they always pan to managers sitting in the dugout with a mouthful of chewing tobacco and spitting in the dugout... In football as the head coach you're always up and moving around, so you need to be comfortable and focus on managing the mental gauntlet that is the game, not worrying about how Wall Streetish you can look while you're doing it.

Also, what about in January when the temp drops below 0 sometimes, should the coaches still be forced to wear suits and have their balls freeze to the inside of their legs so they can be "classy?"

Football isn't a classy sport, its a physical and violent sport. Funny that the same guy preaching about most of this "class" talk is a guy with who has a picture of Rex flipping someone off.

Keep sensationalizing all you want and over blowing something. Id rather have a down to earth coach that doesn't worry about having diamonds in his ear, sticking his chest out acting like a thug, dressing like a "businessman" or any of the other stuff that some of the other coaches in the league do. He can wear a thong bikini for all I care, as long as he's managing the game for us on Sundays!

OMG I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT THIS CLASSLESS BUM IS WEARING!!!!!!!!
