Sorry if someone posted already, but 1050 just reported Bills officially ask for permission to speak to BS. I know he would like to be here a couple of years but giving up a HC job in the NFL, it would be hard to pass up.
Aren't they required to wait till the team is done with the playoffs? I remember the Jets couldn't talk to Rex till after the Ravens had lost last year.
I don't know if it was official, there are rules that have to be followed regarding coaches that are involved in the playoffs that teams have to abide by. I know the Bills are in a tough spot but they have a history, not the greatest but they were very good and represented the AFC well for many years.
I doubt he will make the move to buffalo, but I guess stranger things have happened. Some of my friends that are Bills fans hate the idea of Schotty as their coach. Not too sure why, but whatever.
2 weeks ago...i would've been ecstatic to hear this news.....Now, I'm 50/50. Schotty has cleaned up his playcalling dramatically...and Sanchez has played better because of it.
It's up to the Team that employs him... If there is a good relationship they sometimes let them talk. I wouldn't do it because I want my OC focused and it's a division rival. Besides, 3 days ago Shotty was just ooozing his love for Rex
I would not have much of an issue with Callahan being promoted to OC. Having BS as a Head Coach of a Division rival does not really scare me.....better him than Cowher!
Well they are trying to move the Bills to Canada. Does that make them a CFL team rather than a 'National' Football League team? lol
No it's not true. Some coaches interviewed during their Bye week in the playoffs. I believe Rex opted out of interviews until the Ravens were out of it.
Well, at least they reached the SB. Sure enough they didn't win, but they did do a good job (not great is probably what you meant).
He knows what our O lacks better than Cowher or Bellyshit. I'd rather they get an HC who knows the Jets about as much as Cedric knew about Harris.
