You judgmental (i.e. Broncos game) must be turning over in your grave.

No one else can execute the fumble-for-a-touchdown play like he can.

But seriously, I'm eager to see him get more touches.

Touchdown scored by #68 Matt Slauson. Assist to #29 Bilal Powell.

Good to hear, I'm hoping that he can add a bit of a charge to the rushing offense this late in the season like Greene did in 2009. I'm also hoping we can get a bit more creative in getting McKnight in open space on offense - we have 2 young backs who I have confidence in and with the running game having a down year, I think they can change things up enough to get us at a pace more similar to what we've been privy to the last few years.

ya know, that is a great example of the nature of the board.

If Powell's fumble ends up being a turnover instead of Slauson saving his ass, there would have been a million "Cut Powell!!" suck threads.

But with the same action being committed by said player with a different end result, everyone is happy and does not impulsively create a thread about how that one play ruined the enitre 2011 season.

Not that we need examples of this but it just came to mind.

    This offense get creative... HA.

I just want to see the kid get more runs to the outside+screens instead of a halfback slam up the middle for a gain of two.

We still lost that game and as of now the season is not over... It could be if we dont continue to win tho.

And I have faith that this board would give the rookie a second shot even if the fumble was recovered by the Broncos.

Yeah I know - one can hope, especially with Moore sticking around the team for the rest of the season.

That would be my only source of hope, having Moore stick around...Its not that hard to design an off tackle run, just watch an eagles game. They run that play at least five times a game.

Wouldn't it be nice to find a gem to help with the playoff push and give Greene a couple of snaps off in the process?

Yeah, one would think it shouldn't be too hard to call to your players' strengths. I do agree to a degree that Schotty is hamstrung a bit by an inconsistent young QB and no real "burner" at WR to stretch the D, but way too many play calls are predictable and seem scripted.

Does this mean we'll have 5 backs in LT, Greene, McKnight, Conner and now Powell active this week? Seems like a lot.

On a seroius note, I'm excited to see what he can do. While having the rest of the back feild injured is not a good thing, at least the kids gets a solid look late in his rookie year. Its never a bad thing to see if your youth can step up.

Yeah, but people aren't going nuts. There's no "Good McNight Joe" threads. Probably because there's no easy way to say it. "Bye Bye, Bilal?"

Curious to see what he can do. Underwhelmed me in his first appearance, but it was just that, his first appearance in the NFL.
