http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/10/31/packers-dont-activate-bigby-harris/ After two weeks of practicing with the Packers, safety Atari Bigby and cornerback Al Harris are not yet ready to help the team. Green Bay stood pat on Saturday, choosing not to activate either player from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Packers coach Mike McCarthy indicated Harris wouldn't play on Friday, but Bigby's status was up in the air. Since the players started practicing last week, the Packers have to activate them for next week's game or place them on injured reserve. They are both expected to be part of the team in the second half. Rookie running back James Stark is also on the PUP list. I've watched the Packers a few time this year and while Clay Mathews is a beast and Woodson is well... Charles Woodson, who else is on that defense that even scares you a little bit? With those pieces missing from the Packer secondary I'm hoping we can display our usual balanced attack and play 'keep away' from Aaron Rodgers.
I have a fairly large bet with a classmate whose a Packer fan, he hasn't shut up about Bigby and Harris being back. This will just make it even sweeter when I see the look on his face monday.
I heard their bus also broke down on the way to the game, and has been ruled out for the trip.:rofl:
via Rich Cimini Packers LDE Ryan Pickett (ankle) is inactive for today's game. Look for a lot of right-side runs from the Jets.
