    You forgot Leonard Williams, probably the best defensive player in the entire draft.

    Replace Mariota with Williams and you are on to something.

    The draft is at least 12 quality players deep this year. You have the top 6 which GWJets and James Hasty identified. Then you have Mariota, Parker, Peat, Shelton, Waynes and Ray at least in the high-quality tier. There are another half dozen guys that might be there also.

    Pshhawww, you can get good players all OVER the draft. Having a higher pick (in every round) really doesn't matter.

    I read that somewhere.

    You read it here, and since this is the internet, it therefore must be true. The Jets ought to forget about using their #1 and #2 draft picks and having to pay higher salaries. Since there are great picks all over the draft, they ought to trade their #1 and #2 picks every year for a bunch of 3rd-7th round picks. They'd have plenty of depth and talent then.
