Beningo is at camp taking some Jets calls and interviewing players. You could listen live on the internet if you choose.

http://www.wfan.com/ hit listen live on the right of the screen, fill out a short survey (put any old BS in there) and you are good to go...

Oh please give me details. I wonder if Pennington would talk to him after basing him on the air over and over.

BTW, wasn't Jody McDonald barred from interviewing players for ESPN radio last week? And doesn't Mangini run a tight ship with players talking? Knowing WFAN, they'll get Vilma and one other guy.

    Beningo interviewing Dan Leberfeld.

Leberfeld thinks the Jets are going to hang around this year, could have a record around 5-6 going into December. Said the Dolphins are overrated, that Culpepper can't read defenses. "Miami is not better than the Jets," he said.

    We'll see, I guess.

The thing is outside of punter and maybe Vilma, I don't see a position where we couldn't improve. If this team wins 7 games, we stole a great coach from NE just like they stole the great Belichick from us.

D'Brick as well, nothing outstanding from any of the three IMO. All gave the company line, they expect to compete this year, the team does not look at it as a rebuilding year.

I think Rhodes was going to knock Herm's camp vs Mangini's camp at one point when asked about the differences, but he caught himself and just said they run a lot more situational stuff now, but the team always practices hard.
