I like the post that says the 2004 Steelers had a "MUCH better defense and rushing attack". It's too bad the Jets have given up fewer points and yards than that defense and have scored more points, gained more yards, and rushed for a higher YPC (by a full half a yard) than that team on offense.

The biggest difference between this year's Jets team and that year's Steelers team is that their QB was much more efficient with the football, even though he was held to similar passing numbers yardage wise.

That Ravens fan is a tool, if Rex was coaching the Ravens and had confidence in them like he does the Jets, he'd be all up Rex's ass...I don't think Rex is cocky, and I'm not saying that because I'm a Jets fan..given the Jets history, they need a coach that isn't afraid to say what is on his mind and does whatever it takes to get his team ready not only physically, but mentally as well. And he roots for division rivals in the playoffs? That would be the day I'd ever root for the Pats, Fins or Bills if they were in the playoffs & the Jets were not.....

yes i can't understand the ravens fan at all...i started posting on there and now just hit them with one liners...they are not rational by any sense....i would NEVER root for a divisional team in the playoffs no matter what.....all the fans are there are just honestly ridiculous and i hope the jets win obviously for my own reasons but if they do i'm just going to observe the meltdown that occurs on that board

Up until when I visited their forums about a week ago, I thought Cincinnati fans would be somewhat rational, but boy was I surprised.

They're blinded by their unusual success, and some actually think they have edge on us at the Offensive Line category.. W.T.F.?

When he essentially asked the colts to rest their starters, I didn\'t have a problem with it. That just showed everybody how weak they are. See, when the Steelers are in similar situations they only say \'I hope they play their starters\'

Good teams want to play the best their opponents have to offer.

As for this latest comment, I do actually have a problem with it. Just because Rex Ryan is such an idiot.

Look at the 2004 Steelers. Far better defense and rushing attack than the jets have. Infact, their rookie QB was far better than that of Sanchez. They were 15-1. Roethlisberger had never cost them a game and was undefeated. However they were not superbowl favorites because of Roethlisberger. Because in the playoffs at some point you have to be able to pass the football. You have to be able to run. You have to be able to play defense. Rookie QB\'s in the playoffs = Overwhelmed. And Mark Sanchez has looked overwhelmed for the last 3 months.

If you cannot do any one of those at some point, you will fail. The jets cannot throw the ball. I don\'t care who they\'re playing, they could play any team in the playoffs, AFC or NFC - Mark Sanchez will cost them the game when it\'s time for him to actually win a game.

Rex Ryan stomp all over little girly tiger cats. Then MArk Sanchez make little Mexiacn babies in Ben-Gals bellies.

That come back made me laugh so hard.
