Steelers just might have their first losing season since 2003.

Pretty sure on ESPN Radio they just said that its a 1.5 year recovery? This could very well be the end of Big Ben.

    1.5 year recovery for what?

All I have read is that he had an MRI and needed surgery on his elbow. I haven't read anywhere detailing what is wrong

    Tommy John, essentially.

If that's the case, you are correct, his career might be over.

I went through hell recovering from a torn labrum and rotator cuff in my throwing arm. I never could throw the same again.

Tommy John is an entirely different animal. And for a guy his age, not a high percentage of recovery

On top of that this guy has been debating retirement for a year or 2. He doesn't seem like the guy who will have the determination or motivation for that type of rehab either.

Worse for Pittsburgh. Just gave him a huge extension. On the hook for $48.5 million if he can't play.

I've been following Chao for years on Twitter. He is really, really good when it comes to looking at the video as diagnosing an injury. He nailed the Brees injury last night too IIRC.

Mason Rudolph time. I wonder if Mike Tomlin is still the coach next season. And if he isn't which team hires him.

The back end of the Jets schedule just lightened up even more:
    Jaguars
    Dolphins
    Giants
    Redskins
    Raiders
    Bengals
    Dolphins
    Ravens
    Steelers
    Bills

Really wish they can find a way to beat the Browns tonight.

As for Big Ben, sucks to see. Could be the end of the road for him. If so, he had a great career, but I feel with better coaching he could have had a couple more Super Bowl rings.

Texans come to mind. O'Brien has to be getting close to being on the hot seat if he isn't already.

Throw in the fact that the rest of this conference looks like dog shit outside of New England, Kansas City and Baltimore right now.

To think if Darnold didn't get mono and Mosley didn't get hurt, we'd have beaten the Bills with a shot to go 2-0 tonight. We'd still drop to 2-4 but then the only tough games left would be the Ravens and Bills.
