To have this guy NOT start in the probowl would be an absolute disgrace.

Thank you Mr. Graham, you and the other ST players were really the only bright spots in an otherwise MISERABLE game yesterday.

69-freaking yards- isn't that the same distance as Mike Nugent's putrid kickoffs?

Graham is an absolute beast... Here here.....

What a kick yesterday... also a great play by brad smith on that open field tackle to not allow a return yard

Matt Mcbriar is averaging over 50 yards per punt.
    Shane Lechler is averaging 49.1

I think Graham is real good, but hopefully the second half of the year does NOT have Graham getting a lot of punts.

For some odd reason I cant get excited about my punter going to the pro bowl. Just my thoughts.

Ok so what other players CAN you get excited about, and their prospects of getting to the PB?

As a fan, I'll take what I can get this season, even if it means rooting for the punter.

Hey im not saying you should not be excited it was just me.

I just wouldnt feel comfortable with my friend whos a bears fan saying harris, urlacher, grossman, are all pro bowlers then me replying "O yah but my punter kicks torpedos " .

for the record I like graham though.

McBriar will likely be the NFC representative. Lechler has been the best punter around for several years. He will likely beat out Graham, although Ben Graham can make a case. Best player on his team.

stats are great and all but its all about the situation, maybe some punters punt alot in short field situations..point taken but you cant rely on stats, esp when it involved punters.

FWIW, yeah id love to see him get recognised with a PB spot but Ben just wants to win :)

He doesn't automatically go to the PB with a 69 yard punt. It's going to help his chances, but he hasn't proven he is a premier punter in the league yet.

I beg to differ with your statement. If this was a "Typical" thread. It would be about how we were robbed last game, the defense sux, Chad Sux, Vilma Sux, Mangini Sux, Our Coordinators suck, etc. etc.

that doesnt really say anything about a punter. every punter in the nfl could have a 60yd average if he wants to. just kick it low enough...

lol...that's every other thread on here...

I especially like the one's about how the Ref's robbed us...see...I wasn't aware the refs reached into the Jets chests and robbed them of their hearts..

Kind of like the Giants, back when Dave Jennings was easily their best player.

I'm going to the Pro Bowl, so I hope at least one Jet makes it, I'll settle for the punter.
