ACK! I'm in the middle of watching the two hour combine show from NFL. com.

What is this combine show? Maybe i picked the wrong time to post this interview, you're all pre-occupied.

If you go to NFL.com, there is a link to a two hour show of yesterday's workouts. This is a scouting event for all the rookies coming out of school, and Jay Cutler of Vanderbuilt will throw on this show. He is the QB I'd like to see the Jets pick.

That was great! In the states, players rarely do such extended interviews. That was not only unique in that respect, it was cool to hear Ben sounds like a regular guy. We have guys that aren't.... like Abraham, who thinks he's god's gift to the game.

I didn't realise Mangini was the same guy who scouted Ben in the first place. That's a pretty cool coincidence. What's the likelihood of some of those trick plays involving Graham happening next season?

nfl scouting combine is basically their equivalent of what we call draft camp where potential draftees get put through tests etc....... and have interviews with clubs except that its a lot bigger in the nfl

Probably better than they were last year. The situation for fake punts and field goals have to be just right. The FG kicker, Nugent was a QB in high school, but it's hard for a holder like Graham to get open on a fake.

The thing that interests me, is the fact that Ben could try a fake punt, and run towards the sideline. If it doesn't look good, he can still punt on the run. That is something other NFL punters most likely can't do. The special teams coach is still here, Westhoff, who runs all the kicking teams. So, he should still have those trick plays available to him.
