I read that Bioshock 3 is going to be nuts with this engine. Apparently it's been heavily modified and improved similar to how Bioshock 1 improved the old Unreal engine.

Hasn't the Unreal 3 engine been out for a while? I guess companies are finally starting to take advantage of its full capabilities. Graphics look outstanding, I'm just not a big fan of these futuristic cyborg type shooters.

Anyway, this just goes to show what kind of graphics are possible on PCs. PC games would be so much more advanced today if it weren't for consoles. Consoles and their 5+ year lifespans keep graphics qualities at lower levels since most gaming companies these days build games that can be ported to both console and PC.
