Justin McCareins The Bears are interested in free agent receiver Justin McCareins. McCareins attended high school in Chicago's suburbs and went to college at Northern Illinois. Chicago has little depth at receiver, and McCareins could ostensibly compete for a starting job. Still, he's shown he's basically a No. 3 receiver, and the Bears need a bona-fide starter. Tennessee and Washington have also shown interest.- Chicago sun-times
No one in Chicago will get to see how many balls McCareins would drop because the Bears don't have anyone who can consistently get the ball near a receiver. It a great place to hide for him.
The fact that the author thinks McCarrins is "basically a No. 3 receiver" tells me that he didn't watch any of this guy's gameplay over the course of the last few seasons. No 3. receiver on the opposite side of the field from Derrick Strait, in Edmonton, mabye...
Ok next question ....What do ya think we would get for him? I am thinkin maybe they could scrape some juju bees or gum off the bottom of a seat at the movies and we would still be gettin the better end of the deal.
And the Bears just signed Brandon Lloyd. And they signed Marty Booker a few days ago. Rex Grossman throwing to Lloyd, Booker and McCareins? Handing off to Cedric Benson? At least they have Greg Olson at TE.
