YO There are player that do live up to their potential because of the schemes they get in. Bears got a steal PERIOD. Mad sports center aint say more bout this

    Ohoshun
Crap! I was really hoping the Browns would give him a try seeing as we are paper thin in that area. Oh well. Good luck Vernon.

Can Lovie Smith teach Gholston to "love football"?

    this is a non-story.

At least if he does become productive he'll be doing it in the NFC.

I begrudge him success less than perhaps I would some other players; his problem wasn't that he was too busy being a playboy, he just couldn't get his head round applying his undoubted physical abilities to the NFL. Maybe he'll be better in a defensive role and scheme where intelligence and technique aren't as highly prized as they are under Rex, and good luck to him.

I could see him having a couple of good games, causing TGG to crash with "we should have kept Gholston" threads....but he will never be a player.

Those comments at the bottom are like reading the comments on a youtube video -- there's never any intelligent life to be found.

Gholston couldn't even understand how to play Special Teams.

You guys who think he'll amount to anything with the Bears are nucking futz.

Two Ohio State fans and an illiterate Chi-tard see potential in Vernon Gholston. I'm not about to get worked up about this just yet.

Ghost hasn't shown anything in camp and that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Gimme a break if you think he's suddenly going to become a Pro Bowler/stop playing like he's fucking Helen Keller.

Watching him vs Buffalo he was a lot more visible than he ever was here.

That said, I was much more irritated watching Brad Smith picking up first downs for the Bills.

Enjoy those sporadic moments and the $15 mil you forked over for them.

I know about the money and I'm hoping the Jets know what they're doing, but Brad Smith is a very good player. I'm not at all happy he's in our division.

I'm not gonna lie, I love the versatility he brings to our team...but that being said, the Bills are a couple years away from beating the Jets again.
