Brian Costello @BrianCoz Bart Scott told me he's boycotting the media: "Y'all think we're a bunch of clowns and circus acts." #nyj I think we're going to be seeing an extremely focused team on Sunday.
Me too. Team is desperate on both sides of the ball to fix their image. They will be prepared and will play physical. Hopefully a focused and hard working Santonio Holmes will help put up some points because we know our D won't give up too many.
I would love nothing more than for this team to come out and play with a huge chip on its shoulder. If they do then watch out bc things could get interesting.
The bulletin board material is there......clowns...need I say more. If ever there was a time to come out focused and lay an absolute beatdown on a team this would be it. Everyone is quiet.....I have a feeling we are going to do something special on sunday and shut the media up!
I want to see lots of ass kicking on both sides of the ball. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q47bpOCTcaY
I like the message Scott is sending. Hopefully, it'll help him and the other LBs in coverage against Nelson, Jackson, and Spiller.
1) No matter all the talk in the media its going to come down to the players on the field and how they match up against their opponent. 2) If the other team is truly better than you, all the talk, focus, etc isn't going to do you any good. At the end of the day you are what you are. You can talk ground and pound all you want but if can't do it on the field all the talk and good intentions don't mean spit. 3) Perception isn't always reality. Are the Jets a circus show? So far I would say management has put them in that positions. I blame the poor decisions of Tanny, Woody, Rex, etc. for that. The poor play of the team in pre-season has reinforced that. But all of that doesn't mean anything if the Jets take care of business on the field. Beat the Bills, use Tbow/wildcat effectively, and orchestrate a respectable offense, I and the media will be forced to eat our words. Come Monday morning we will be heaping praise on you and all this circus/clown/preseason will be a distant memory. Some silly media frenzy. But if they play like they did in pre-season it will prove the perception is reality. So, yeah I applaud Bart Scott. I don't want to hear what you are going to do, I want see what you are going to do. I'm always suspect of anybody who has to tell you that they are x. Leaders don't have to tell the media they're are leaders, they go out and lead.
Agree with you, but the final revenge would be to kick the Giants ass and then tell the Post to f off. We could have our own caption of the NY Times dressed in tuxedos as the class of NY and the Post dressed as clowns
hopefully the whole team follows his lead. imagine Tebow boycotting the media? ESPN would just have dead air.
Team is motivated and hungry as hell We'll see who the fucking circus is after this game. Fuck all these NY jizz rag newspapers
Tebow utters the same 6 sentences over and over anyway , the media would just run it on loop. F*** the media , I was pumped last night, I'm getting pumped for you guys right now .
I keep dreaming (emphasis on dreaming) that they sand-bagged it in the pre-season. Its highly unlikely, but I would love to see the Jets dismantle Buffalo. Not that I hate buffalo, but it would be nice to make a statement against the "2nd best team in the AFCE".
