Adam Schein has just said he went to the 49ers.

He said on the Afternoon Blitz the other day that San Fran and the Jets were his top choices. He wanted to play for Mangini. Eric must have known something and not totally wanted him, because it shouldn't have taken much to bring in a former player that already liked the coach if indeed we wanted him.

Good, let the 49ers make the mistake of signing him. Banta-Cain is awful, just because he was a Patriot doesn't mean he's any good.

Banta Cain would have been a nice addition, but I don't think he was really an improvement over Hobson. Hobson really did a solid job last year. People don't like him because he isn't a big play guy, but he's a steady, reliable tackler.

Im glad hes gone. He's a below average starter who will not make many plays in San Fran's defense.

He was benched by the Pats in their biggest game of the year... and the Pats have NOTHING at LB.

He's steady... in the sense that he's always awful.

I read that he was benched in the second half of the Pats playoff loss to the Colts. Another Chatham.... glad he's going elsewhere.
