Figures. Not that either team really plans on airing it out. Looks like this game will be won on the ground.

I think that would play to our advantage. We'er damn good against the run on D and our Rushing games has looked very good of late. Here's to hoping for a sloppy messy game.

Bad weather can neutralize the qb position...and that advantage this year goes to us.

I would prefer to play this game in a dry field. Could be wrong.

I don't like our chances running against their front 7, they're still one of the best in football IMO. Not saying we can't run on them, but I don't expect a huge game from TJ/Leon, just enough to keep them guessing.

4" of rain takes the element of skill from the game and makes it a game of will.

Yeah, I hear you. However, one of the big things that everyone seems to have forgotten about during the week two debacle against the Pats is that the Jets ran the ball on them pretty well. (Yes, I know that everyone will bring up the HUGE goal line stand when we ran it 3 straight times and failed) I think we ran for close to 100 yards in that game and remember that we abandoned the running game when we fell behind 16-3. I happen to agree that I'd rather see this game played in good weather, however, I don't think it would necessarily be a bad thing for us if the game was played in the rain. Even though the rain can certainly help in nuetralizing QB play, I ask all of you to tell me honestly, which QB would you trust more in bad weather, Favre or Cassel?

Yeah aside from the goal line stand we ran all over them. I think we finished with just under 5 YPC.

Can we expect shitloads of Patriots-Raiders tuck rule game replays during the pregame show? Ugh.

    two questions:

    1) did you mean "replays" instead of "replies"?

    2) Are you thinking the of Raiders - Pats AFC Divisional (2nd round) game in 2001? (That was the tuck rule game)

No QB does well in the rain, this isn't good news for us.
