Jacobs is the best of the bunch, although I would get his handcuff 'cause he always gets hurt. Young is disappointing and will only get worse when Torain gets back. Lloyd is Orton's boy, but for how long? Moss is the Oakland Moss. So I still say the first one.
It's tough. Lloyd is starting to come around with that Bears offense. He had a great game last week. But Plaxico is almost guaranteed points week in-week out. Young is the only thing holding me back from taking that trade, but...because it's Plax, I guess I'd pull the trigger.
I need WR more, and I want to trade Jacobs while he's still healthy. His schedule (well, Plax's too) will get much harder.
Well, obviously, if you need a WR this week, then this trade won't help you out much in the short run. I would pull the trigger on the trade if you can, pick up Ward. I know that's a lot of Giants players to have on your team, but Jacobs has only had 1-100 yd game (Week 1) and 1TD (Week 3). I've seen Ward take almost all the 2nd half snaps. I don't know if the Giants are trying to limit his touches because they know he's injury prone or because they want to keep him fresh for the long run, but I don't see how that helps u (and myself) fantasy wise. Don't get upset tho when Jacobs has one of those 50yds, 2TD's tho. But I see Plax having more 100+yd games w/ 1 TD than Jacobs and the above stat.
I don't care about this week at all. I think my team has enough depth where I can even get Colston if I wanted and be able to take it. Next week, I have a few more byes than this week, but I'm fine starting Roddy and Gonzalez at WR next week if I have to. I'm just annoyed that he took the deal off the table and offered me Chester Taylor and Moss for Braylon and Jacobs. How come every time I'm close to a deal in this league, someone decides to ruin it by offering something insulting like that.
Young>Lloyd Jacobs=Burress over the long haul If you need WR more, then I'd say do it...if it is available at all.
