Looking for some advice for a draft attendee rookie. For those who have attended Day 1 of the draft before-- what time is it necessary to get there to wait in line to get tickets? I know the ticket office opens at 9-- I'm hoping I don't have to get there much before 6 AM to wait in line. Also, I've heard tickets are free, and I've heard they cost anything up to $50. Anybody have any info on that?

They are free but I wish you could pay for them. That's better than waiting in line for hours on end.

    Attending the draft?

Ok I'm new to this but me and my family want to attend the draft. Judging on the topic near this one, I hear tickets are free but you have to wait in line. When is it, what time does it start, and when should I get there for relativly decent seats.

It's at the Radio City Music Hall on April 29-30, 2006. Rounds 1-3 will begin at 12 Noon EST, Saturday April 29th. Rounds 4-7 will follow on Sunday, April 30th, starting at 11am EST.

ESPN will televise the draft from noon on Saturday until 7pm with ESPN2 taking over coverage for the rest of the day. On Sunday, ESPN will televise the draft from 11am - 1pm and ESPN2 will carry the remainder of the seven rounds.

Yeah, I saw the other threads, I was more looking for info on what time to show up to get tickets. It sounds like 4 AM is a safe bet to get in and get good seats. Anyone else have any info?

Has the draft been announced as being at Radio City Music Hall? The NFLMedia site isn't showing a venue yet.

What is there to do at the draft (if you are in attendance) other than sit and wait for draft picks?
