I loved the way Hill got what yardage he could and then went down. His fumbles occur when he fights for extra yardage and doesn't protect the ball well enough.

Geno's short passing skill is as legit as his down field. Those balls are all in the abdomen. We should try doing that more with Kerley and Holmes the way NE does it.

I rewatched the game yesterday paying attention to only our offensive line and secondary. Brian Winters played incredibly giving it was his first start and he's a rookie. He made 1 big mistake but it looked like he thought nick mangold was giving him help inside. Other than that he got good push in run blocking and was very solid in Pass pro.

As far as the secondary goes, we got some work to do defending inside the numbers passes, too many short throws where our boys played for the tackle instead of the pass breakup. That can work if you actually made the tackle but we whiffed plenty in the 3rd and 4th quarters on tackles that gave up first downs. One of the top of my head was a pass in the flat to their TE where Wilson could of stopped him for no gain but whiffed on the tackle and so did Harris.

One more thing, Darrin Walls needs to make a play, there were 2 times in the game where he has his hands on the ball but doesn't make the catch, otherwise his coverage skills and break on the ball are exceptional.

On that last run by Powell the announcers were burning the LB for missing the tackle. Looking at it again, it looks like Powell makes a very subtle flinch to his right before taking the handoff and cutting back to his left to avoid the tackle. Nice little fake-out.

    Yeah, I'm seeing similar.

On the same play, Winters...oh boy. Let's the lineman go right through.

The play at 2:03 in the GWD video. Wow, Gates. Had he not fallen, he takes it to near the 20 yard line.

More troubling than that is on the field goal, #88 (Konrad Reuland) on the right side of the line gets completely burned and gives up on the play, and Folk's kick damn near gets blocked by the Falcon's player

Amazing, every throw on that drive is on the money.

Loved his scramble for the first down.

Yup. It didn't occur to me just how close that came to getting blocked.

They mentioned it on TV, but from that angle you can see it better, if Gates stays on his feet that would have been a big play.

If that were anyone else other then Gates, it would of been a touchdown lol

Braylon would have dragged the defender into the endzone.

This game got alot of Dolphin fans thinking... "oh shit"

We all should still lower our temperment because its so early in the process...I am a fan of Geno, I was there day 2 the day he got drafted and I cheered the pick so loud with my gf in front of these 3 loud-mouthed Giants fans.

I just hope he continues to always be humble in this NY market...No need to fall into the media's lap like RG 3 or Sanchez
