I saw that. Bigby did a nice job getting the ball and running down the sideline. Too bad it was called back.

Did you happen to catch Tim Dwight's fumble?

Atari Bigby is a penalty machine. Finally on the good end of a big play.

No doubt. Elam may be the worst defensive back in the league.

I think Erik Coleman is hold to a higher standard than most guys on this squad, and really, that's unfortunate. Coleman made a mistake here and there and he hasn't seen the field since. Elam is a bad attitude guy and that's reflected in his reckless play on the field, and Smith just looks over matched, nothing more than a capable backup. I'd welcome seeing Coleman on the field more often.

I noticed they were subbing Elam out on Sunday and he was essentially a two down guy. That's not an encouraging sight. I think these two are going to be heavily exposed on Sunday.

That makes Eric Smith injured. He'll be starting next year, and would have been this year.

    QFT...

    E. Coleman has gotten kind of a raw deal with the CS, and a worse deal with the fans (because of his huge rookie year)....

I'd much rather have a fundamentally sound, unspectacular player, like Coleman, next to our playmaker in the secondary, than an undisciplined, fundamentally retarded player back there, in Elam...

even with the INT, Bigby had another bad game. I watched a lot of the game. Did you see the Raider TD?

Al Harris had the position on Porter for the pick in the endzone, but Bigby came flying over and nailed him. Yep, he took his own player out of the play. Very bright.

Beyond me how a player so fundamentally awful and football stupid keeps his job.

Eric Smith was a wasted draft pick, and I'm not a big fan of Elam, but I'd rather have myself out there than Bigby. At least I wouldn't make a never-ending string of dumb plays.
