Brandon Graham should be on that list.....and a top priority for Tanny/Rex at the draft.

Yeah, no chance Graham makes it to 29. I could see us moving up 10 spots to get him though.

If we stay at 29, I think we take Damian Williams. Tanny and Rex will give Sanchez everything he needs to succeed and Williams can participate right away.

What about Jason Pier-Paul ? This guy looks like a beast, 6'5 250 8'1 arm span, fast flexible, projected to go @ the end of the first.

The guy doesnt have a long track record, but looks like he has serious serious potential.

No way in hell he makes 29, thats why he's not listed.

I'm thinking Tate at this point. The Jets wanted to trade back up to get Harvin last season and tate is a similar prospect in terams of his over all tool kit.

At this very second, if the Jets are lucky enough to see Ryan Mathews on the board at #29, I say go for it. He'd be value and an immediate contributor to the offense. It'd be like having Thomas Jones back, but ten years ago, minus the crappy start to his career.

Golden Tate has a great mixture of toughness and play making ability that even in a limited role he'd be a huge contributor (like Harvin)

But do you really think Matthews would be worth it considering RB isnt one our biggest needs?

We have some big needs, but I think when it comes down to straight value vs the kind of players we need, he'd be the best option. This IS assuming the lack of a trade down, which I think they absolutely should do, but I'd go with Mathews over any of the safeties, OLBs, or 34 DEs that would be there at that spot. As deep as this RB class is, the OLB core is deeper, safeties always can be picked later in the draft, and I don't think the 34 DEs at that spot are what the Jets are really looking for.

Matthews would be a nice pick. I jsut feel that the team is after a guy like Tate. Ability to play underenate and the speed to strech the feild, it would make our offense truely dynamic.

I could definitely see us go Tate with our 1st and someone like Arthur Jones in the 2nd and pick up a RB later in the draft.

I think the pick has to be Odrick, pending the whole Kerry Rhodes/Anquan Boldin rumor mill. Pass rush is a glaring deficiency that has to be addressed. Either that, or Rex knows something we don't know about Gholston
