I think Washington stays on the team because of his special teams ability. I think they trade Strait. Obviously, no way to know now. But invariably a player from another team currently will be on the PS when the season starts. I don't think they fill it with 100% Jets rejects.

I want to trade McCarrens. I would also look to get anything we can for Straight or Bollinger. As I said, we will probably pick up a couple players we don't have now. I think we would get better ones by trading guys that won't be starting for us. I thought the real curveball was Schlagel. I just don't think he has NFL speed.
not to go through a whole list i think Newhouse has a shot @ making the team, along with coles, dwight, smith and crotch, McCarriens is on the bubble - maybe a trade candidate...but right now I believe the fight is b/t Newhouse and McCarriens and the distance b/t the 2 isn't as great as one may think...don't really have too much thoughts on the other pos.
