I don't know know about everyone else, but I really want to see what Ratliff and Clemens have to offer to the team. I know Cutler is a great QB and could be our QB for many seasons to follow, and the numbers that ESPN have been showing on him are incredible. But I feel like if Clemens and Ratliff, more Ratliff though, if they don't get there chance this season, they never will.

I coul be wrong, I haven't really seen Ratliff play, so i might be giving him a false potential, but he definitely has the perfect build. I just think it would be more exciting to see Ratliff come in and be a stud and become the future of our franchise than trading for Cutler and him continue his dominance in NY..

What do you mean? This is hot off the wire, NYJ_JD's opinion on the Cutler situation. I don't know where else you can find that information. This guys opinion matters more than everyone elses posting in the existing Cutler threads. That's why the thread is needed.

it just doesn't make sense to give up the farm for him. i thought this was a build the D, build the run. control the game as a QB, so let's give kellen a shot. if not im all for using the 1st next year on a QB. if we trade the 2nd best CB in the game and take away our stud pieces for D for a QB who is good but makes mad decisions... where are we going?

not to mention our weapons for this QB are less than average... ugh that would suck

Of course it makes sense to give up the farm for him, he is a franchise QB. There may be only 7 or 8 more of them in the league. They never become available in a trade. Somebody will give up the farm and more for him.

well at least someone on here understands.. what i have to say is way more important to put on the last page of a huge merged thread about Cutler..

and Mr. Lame-o.. come on dude.. you sound like 14 years old... that was worse than my thread....

and nahh sorry im not a lawyer.. not sure where ya going with that.. still in college.. but uh... yeah maybe next time..

i know everyone cares about my opinion.. obviously.. i mean thats not point being questioned...

P.S. ESPN JUST ANNOUNCED THAT ACCORDING TO ONE OF THEIR REPORTERS.. THE JETS ARE THIRD BEHIND THE BUCCS AND REDSKINS ON THE LIST OF MOST LIKELY TO GET CUTLER...

but it has changed twice already since this morning.. but we'll see...

I do want to see what they can do as well. The problem is that if we know they can't cut it after 3 or 4 weeks, I know I will want Cutler.

On the same note, if we get Cutler and we're 2-6 by week 9 and the D is playing well, I'll wish Kellen or Ratliff had been given a shot and we saved whatever we gave up for Jay.

^^^^ To you its way more important. Maybe you can imagine that everyone believes their opinions are important. But not everyone dedicates a thread to their opinion when there are multiple threads to express it. If they did, the forum would be shit.

Also, you may not be aware that whenever a thread is started, another thread necessarily gets knocked off the front page. The thread you knocked off may have been quite worthy and expressed ideas independant of other threads.
