You guys missed a riveting 4th quarter...Tampa came way back from a 56-0 deficit to make it 56-14.

Turned it off after the first td in the 2nd quarter. This was never a game.

I wonder how long it takes before Phill Simms and Jim Nantz get burnt out from doing 2 games a week, especially with some of these games on the TNF schedule not looking as enticing as they once did. Next we could have a 1-2 Redskins vs 0-3 Giants..... =/

And well in other news Broncos fans are protesting for Phil Simms to stop calling Broncos games.

Maybe us Jets fans should start protesting Nantz and his hating ass.

    How pathetic

The last thing I want this fan base to do is to try and emulate Denver's fan base in any regard. They have the most delusional, sensitive, homer fan base I have ever seen. The local media out there never says anything negative about the broncos and if they do they get tons of backlash from the crying hippies of that city.

I was out there just last month when Wes Welker got popped for molly. The story was that he was probably taking something for his concussions, because you know, there's no way a "good guy" like Welker would do such a thing. In NY he would've gotten killed for that.. a stupid mistake, hurting his SB caliber team. But out there it's viewed like it's some kind of conspiracy from the league.

Every major city newspaper has at least one guy who calls it like it is with the hometown team. That way you have both sides of the story. Not out there. The Denver Post is the most homer rag I've seen... and not just in recent years when they've been good.

My guess is Simms just doesn't lick Denver's balls like every other analyst so they have to cry about it.

It's painful to watch, especially early in the year these teams need the whole week of practice.

Started off with off field issues of domestic violence and child abuse.

Then came the ridiculous amount of blown calls throughout the weekend.

Then came the abnormal amount of injured star players for many teams.

Finally ended with a 56-14 clinic on Thursday night.

What a terrible week of football lmao

It's been a slightly worse week but it's been a terrible decade of football overall.

-since replay the quality of officiating has severely declined

-since Goodell the off the field issues that always occurred are now front and center

-since the lockout the quality of play has severely declined and the amount of injuries has increased because of less practicing, rules changes and the increased mid week games.

Oh, I completely agree. I was just referencing this week's NFL.

I'm over the whole timeout fiasco blown by the refs in our game, but I was just reading all the other blown calls throughout the league and it's just mind boggling.

Player steps out of bounds, no one calls it and no one comes together to discuss it.

Play is reviewed but the clock isn't even looked at, which gives the Bears the extra time to win the game.

Our players get fined for fighting and throwing punches but not one Packers player gets a fine, even when Richardsons helmet was ripped off his head.

    Just ridiculous.
