Hard to tell how good he could be as his biggest problem is the same problem the Jets have always had - lack of a quality QB and that sinks pretty much everyone: 2021 - Matt Ryan at the end of his career (recently cut by the Colts) 2022 - Mariota - sub-par 2023 - Ridder - terrible

Look, Hackett just realized that Breece Hall is really good at catching passes, so we don't want to hire another OC who doesn't understand that. It might take a whole season for the new OC to figure out that Breece Hall is a good receiver. We don't want to waste the experience that Hackett has with these players. He has knowledge!
