Houston is looking better, but if we can put up points, I think we win.

Nah, Chad sucks and I've "lost faith in the new regime". I might not even go to the game next week.

Why don't we just line up the entire Jets Team and open fire with a M60!!

Honestly, I've never seen so many manic depressives in my entire life. Up one week, world's over the next. :shit:

Houston will be quite a test for this team and in particular, one struggling QB on the comeback trail. Our defense will show up but Coleman can't be victimized for another backbreaker. Yeah, I singled out Coleman. His learning curve is killing me but Miller isn't that much better.

Our offense really does need to get out of the dink and dunk BS we've drifted back into. Our running game should be good enough to keep the Texan D honest but if we never go downfield, what difference will it make?

I know some of you don't wanna hear this but if Chad stinks the joint up again, exactly when do you sit him? How many more floaties do you need to see before you make the change?

Time for this team to either step up or change up. No more inconsistency, no more excuses..

The Jets will win BIG Sunday.

Mangini is bringing some Patriots qualities to the team.

One is after a loss, come out with fight and determination and crush the opponent.

And when that team is (3-7) and on the road, you have to do it. :)

    Don't overlook!

The Texans do suck but we're not all that great either. I think we'll play just like we did vs. Cleveland. With that said I don't know if we'll win or lose at this point!

What is this plague going around that "Houston is better"?

I mean really. Aside from their 2 wins vs. Jacksonville (they own Jax), they have only beat a Miami team that was awful at the time.

I say we win by 17. No doubt in my mind.

If we are a "playoff" team then this game is an easy win. Lets just go out take care of business and hope that denver beats kc on thursday and jax loses at buffalo

This game SHOULD be easy. If our D plays the way they have the last 2 wks, and our offense comes back to wk 1 form, it's a blowout. If chad plays like the chad of late, it will be close. The Jets should win either way.

you know who i want to talk about...Houston. Cedric Houston! Lets see him involved a little more. i really thought he was running well against chicago and i want to see some power running in the jets offense. We have completely given up passing on what seems to be every down. We just start running in the first half cuz our passing game isn't effective and then we just stop in the second half. The mark of every good team is either a) peyton manning or b) a strong commitment to establishing the running game. So i really want to see cedric more involved in this offense for the houston game. Let Houston Rip Up Houston!

LOL...I was also wondering whether this post would be about Cedric or the Texans because I too was impressed with what I saw out of Cedric on Sunday.

It will be interesting to see how the roles turn out now that we have 3 healthy backs.

Houston impressed me last week, great to see him back! Bench barlow and let Houston get his half of the carries, Leon the other, and we have the ultimate mix of thunder and lightning (power and speed) in our running game.

    Agree 110%.

This is not like the Browns game: the Browns, as they have proven in recent weeks, are a pretty darn tough team to beat. People here just underestimated them horribly. Still, we were robbed in that game.

Either way, let's get confident for this game.

We should win this game regardless of who plays QB. I'd like to think Mangini will have the team ready to bounce back after a tough loss, and the Texans are as good a rebound team as any. Not in our division, and not much to play for...I like our chances.

I find it weird that there is more turmoil here after losing to the Bears than there was after we lost to Cleveland.

Might be because of the way we lost each game. The whole team played kinda crappy vs the Browns until the end, where as the Bears game came down to a few specific plays.
