It's not like I never could kick or anything. I was an excellent excellent kicker and punter in past Madden games, even after they changed the kick meter a year or two ago. I mean I hardly ever missed. I still haven't lost that accuracy and power, but now my kicks sometimes seem to randomly go offline. I think I line up a FG perfectly and it sails wide by about 10 years, I do the same with what looks to be a booming punt but goes off the side of my damn foot. I am seriously starting to think it might be a glitch in the game. Anyone else having similar problemos?
Hey don't feel bad I missed 4 Fgs in one game. And I lost by 3 pts. Lined up in the middle of the field 2 times wide right lined up slightly to the left wide left....
Funny you should say that. FGs are all good but Ben Graham seems to have had one to many XXXX. I can't for the life of me work out why he keeps kicking OOB for only about 15 yds. I practice and its fine , I play a game...ooops.
Punting is not my probleme its field goals . I dont know why I miss so many. I never had this probleme b4. 4 in one game.. Damn . I take the stick straight up and down so I do not understand y I miss them...
i've noticed you have better accuracy if you dont go straight back and forth, but straight on line with where you want the ball to go when your lining up pre-snap....ex. right hash mark...back slighty right, forward slightly left never have trouble making a kick unless i have a rookie kicker or something random for punting i just make it as high a punt as possible...and it still always has plenty of distance just with extra hangtime....especially fun when justin miller is your gunner, bc he is all over the pr
made a 63 yarder with matt bryant....and every kickoff goes into the endzone on ncaa....unc's kicker is a beast made 3 60+ kicks....including a 67 yarder(yes...there was wind) the kid was automatic from inside 60....even though he is terrible in real life
I went 61/61 in the first yr of my franchise. 29/30 right now in yr 2 (all madden), only miss from 61 yds.
OK , now I can't even kick PATs. I'm now having the same problem as you guys. The funny thing is , is when I practice , I nail every one , but in game situations , rubbish.
I've noticed that on PATs , if you don't touch the direction stick they go through every time , even when they say BAD. On KOs and Punts I used to stick them on the left side of the field , still can't do that , but I can plant them NOW on the right. There is something not right with the kicking game for sure , glitch?
You have the pull the stick straight back for power - and then you have to push the stick in the direction of the goal posts. If the posts are to the right - you have to push the stick right. Read the instructions.
On KOs , Punts and Field goals , I can kick 'great' if its to the right hand side of the field , anything left just gets shanked. EVERY time. I am not doing anything wrong and am convinced there is something wrong with my game.
Kicking is the easiest part of the game...It was better when you had to double-tap X...You could mess up, click it too late or early...The kicking is a 99% given, even on 55 yarders.
