My son just moved to NY with his degree in finance, not MBA just BA. He's looking for a position as equity research analyst, financial analyst, investment analyst, credit analyst, portfolio analyst, junior analyst. Just looking to see if anyone knows of anyplace with positions open. He has signed up with a head hunter and sent out hundreds of resumes but of course the big companies have a constant flow coming from the ivy league universities. His degree is from UCF, GPA was 3.1. Figured I would try to help him out if I could but with me not living in NY for 30 years this is about the extent of the help I am able to give. Let me know if you know of anything. He has already passed the initial series test, forget what it's called, but i was told most places won't talk to you unless you already have the initial test out of the way.
