As bad as they looked, the defense, once again, did their job when it counted....

Gave up only 1 TD, held the opposition to under 20 points, and made big plays in the clutch...

They set Chad and the O up twice, with great field position late in the game in a 1 TD game.... Once with an INT, and again with a 3 and out....

And the offense did NOTHING to capitalize...

Add on top of that, Leon set them up with a great KO return, which resulted in....

    A FG

The problem could not be any more obvious

The problem is Noodle Arm Pennington, who limits the playbook with his inability to stretch the field.

Today we had a running game, good field position, and alright defense. Chad is the problem.

And Mangini. Mangini is becoming part of the problem.

I can't wait to see his press conference... This should be good....

I have $50 on: 'Chad is the QB'

I really feel bad for our defensive players, they don't have a QB that can sustain drives and they are on the filed on game long, even with that fact they still get a big turnover to give the team a chance.

And by the way how sick are Kerry Rhodes and Leon Washington, Tannenbaum give us a bright spot and sign Kerry Rhodes

Sorry fellas but I cant agree on all counts. While Chad clearly is a huge problem and needs to be benched, our offense has NO shot of getting into rhythm because our defense cant get off the field. I would like the know the numbers of how many offensive drives we get a chance at compared to other teams. We only gave up 16 points but it should have been atleast 22 if not 26 if those field goals went in and that holding penalty wasnt called.

Bottom line, our offense is limited because Chad sucks. But our offense has been playing behind all season because we cant ever get the ball back. Im not sure on the stats, but I bet we have forced the least amount of punts this year and have the least amount of turnovers. This bend but dont break mentality is ridiculous because we give up SO many yards every week. We dont play well against the run or pass and we sure as hell dont get near the QB. We get a sack every once in a while but its not coming from consistent pressure. Mcnabb got sacked 3 times, but only got touched probably 2 other times throughout the game. Bryan Thomas is an embarrassment to his contract in my opinion.

I made sure I said that our D was no good, overall, but they made plays at the end of the game when it mattered, and set up the offense to tie the game....

And the offense pissed away opportunity after opportunity

The D could've played better, but they weren't horrible.

This one again all falls on chad, he blew it, again. You can also argue that the play calling had a big factor in this one.

The D did play better this game but still TOO MANY MISSED TACKLES. Every big play, we had them for a short gain but a missed tackle and... On the other hand, I was VERY happy to see the D actually get a 3 and out. I really can't remember when the last time that they did that. D-Rob did well during the passing plays, shame he isn't as stout against the run.

Good point. I thought Rhodes played well again and Vilma had a few really nice pass break ups but that was about it on D.

Our offensive play calling was awful today. I mean I cant understand the 4-1 call to coles. We run that same play every week and I dont udnerstand why we dont try anything to cotchery. The guy catches everythign near him.
