Anyone see the awful Muhammad Wilkerson quote on Inside the NFL?

    Was watching Inside the NFL last nite and they had Muhammad Wilkerson miced up. The disturbing part was on a run to the other side, he basically took the play off. The Buffalo tight end was disguisted at his lack of effort and said "that was the worst effort by an elite player I've ever seen -- you gotta play better than that". Wilkerson then laughed it off, admitted he wasn't trying and that the play wasn't coming his way anyway. Not quite the JJ Watt effort we would like to see from our star DT. Anyone else see that part?

    Sorry. World Series and Trail Blazers first game was on last night. Missed it. Nothing comes before the Blazers. Not even the Jets.

    Everyone on here will tell you this guy is an "elite" talent. Guy can't even hold Klecko, Lyons, Salaam's jock IMO.

    It doesn't surprise me that the team gave up on Sunday. Rex knows it and that's why he looked so shell shocked. Because he might have lost the team. The D has usually started games off pretty well but when the offense implodes and the team is way behind and the D on the field the entire game hard to motivate your guys. But if Wilk wants to get paid he'd better change his attitude fast. Plus it could be one of the causes for so few plus turnovers this year. If you take off downs then you can't make plays.

    even the good part of the team is unraveling. gotta stick with rex, these guys would run through a brick wall for him as long as it was on the play side and the score was close and they were generally in a good mood.

    Thanks for sharing. Definetely not a good look. Pretty terrible that an opposing team's tight end needs to talk to Jets players about effort. Maybe we should make him HC instead of Rex

    The Jets can be killed for lack of effort no doubt but its obvious the two players were joking with each other. Wilkerson did take the play off however.
