Anyone see Texans GM Charles Casserly all up in arms about Vince Youngs Wonderlic scores. This guy has been on TV and on press releases last couple days mentioning possible trade options out of the 1st pick. He has showed how adamant he has been about the Wondelic and how it means nothing.I know the new scores have came out for Young but you have to start thinking do the Texans really want this guy. They signed Carr to 3 years but that might be the amount of time it would take Young to come into his own in the NFL. So them trading out of their position to possibly the Jets they could still pick him up. I don't know, just something that has got me thinking..

One thing to remember about Casserly is how full of crap he is. Vince Young has taken the test twice and possibly will take it one more time, which is the equivalent of Nate Robinson "winning" the slam dunk contest. It goes to show how unprepared Vince was going into the combine. Casserly should never be taken seriously, no matter what he says until the draft is over, and even after that....be careful.

Unless the Jets thought that Reggie Bush was the second coming of Walter Payton / Jim Brown / Earl Campbell all rolled into one, the Jets aren't going to trade up to the first pick, because they can get a quarterback no matter what at their pick.

He took it twice. First time he got a 6 and the second time he got a 16.

I saw on another thread where some pretty notable QBs did pretty bad on the Wonderlic. Like Marino, for instance, how about a 14. Who knows, that might be why we passed on him back then; we'll never know, but it goes to show you that a test is only that. There are a myriad of intangibles that make up the total QB package. If a boy has a dog, and the dog sniffs another dog's butt, and then licks the boy's face, is that the same as the boy putting his face in the other dog's butt? - This will not teach you how to throw a great pass in the NFL.
